Who We Are - At Inspiring Youth Foundation (IYF), we believe that every adolescent regardless of gender or background carries a spark — a spark of curiosity, creativity, and courage. Our role is not just to teach, but to nurture that spark into a light that can illuminate their path and their community. Founded in March 2024 in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, by a group of passionate journalists and educators, IYF was born out of one simple conviction: when young people are given the right space, support, and belief, they can transform not only their own lives but also the world around them. We work with children and youth from marginalized and semi-urban communities, helping them learn, question, create, and lead — with confidence, compassion, and clarity of purpose.

Our Story

Our journey began during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, when a few volunteers came together to support young people who were losing hope and direction. What started as small learning circles soon grew into a community movement — a safe space where youth could share, explore, and dream. Seeing their energy and commitment, we decided to give the effort a permanent home — a center that could offer structured programs, mentorship, and creative learning journeys. Today, our work blends values and vision — integrating technology, media, play, and social learning with life skills and ethical understanding. We talk about democracy, equality, and inclusion not as distant ideas, but as everyday practices. We learn science not just through textbooks, but through curiosity and discovery. Through our efforts, we’ve reached more than 500 young people in Sitapur and nearby blocks — over half of them girls — many from Dalit, minority, and economically weaker backgrounds. Each of them carries a story of resilience, courage, and hope.
